The Burlington County Library has announced a performance of the Philly POPS Festival Brass live in the library auditorium this holiday season.
Visitors can enjoy this musical celebration filled with holiday spirit and cheer on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Westampton library. Seating is limited and tickets, which cost $20 each, are available at all BCLS branches.
“We are proud to present this special performance by an ensemble of world-class musicians on our library stage,” said BCLS Director Ranjna Das. “This is a wonderful opportunity for friends and family members to celebrate the holidays together by enjoying a fabulous show right here in Burlington County.”
Featuring trumpet, trombone, horn, tuba, and percussion instruments, the performance is sure to put everyone in a festive mood. Sit back and enjoy a selection of classical favorites and well-loved seasonal tunes, including “O Magnum Mysterium,” “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” “Gloria in Excelsis Deo from Christmas Cantata,” and more.
With a reputation for delighting audiences, the sought-after Philly POPS Festival Brass performed during Pope Francis’s visit to Independence Mall in 2015 and the Celebration of Freedom Ceremony on July 4. The ensemble also performs during numerous Christmas tree lightings and other holiday events each December.
Doors to this special library celebration will open at 6:30 p.m. and parking is free.
