The concert will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Dec. 10, the Garden State Chorale will be presenting its annual holiday concert, “A Traditional Christmas.” The program includes both sacred and secular music, including some interesting new arrangements of carols and other holiday favorites, all of which are designed to get you in the spirit of the season.
Performances will take place at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church on Route 70 in Cherry Hill (adjacent to Ponzio’s restaurant). There will be plenty of parking is available on site.
The Garden State Chorale includes singers from throughout South Jersey, and is under the direction of Robert Frederick and accompanied by Pauline Worusski.
Proceeds from the concert will help to fund the Chorale’s annual scholarship program, which awards $2500 to a graduating South Jersey high school senior planning to pursue his/her college education in vocal music studies.
Tickets are available at reduced advanced-sale donation prices of $12 for adults, $9 for seniors and $6 for students.
