Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield announced that the final paper shredding event of 2016 will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex, located at 22,000 Burlington-Columbus Road in Mansfield.
“We had an incredible turn-out at all paper shredding events throughout the course of this year,” said Sheriff Jean Stanfield. “This will be the final paper shredding event this year. We are urging residents to get out and securely dispose of their confidential documents before the New Year.”
“With volunteers on hand to unload your confidential files, you do not even need to leave the warmth of your vehicle,” added Stanfield.
Residents are urged to bring only “confidential” documents for shredding, such as bank and credit card statements, tax returns, papers with account numbers or social security numbers. They will be shredded on-site. Please, no binders, plastic folders, computer disks or plastic credit cards. Up to four bags or boxes per car will be accepted. Already-shredded paper can also be recycled at this event.
This FREE event is for Burlington County residents only. ID is required. No businesses, please. For more information call (609) 499–1001 weekdays or email [email protected].
