The ‘Going the Extra Mile’ program recognizes Evesham’s behind the scenes employees who go above and beyond in their service.
Evesham Township manager Tom Czerniecki says that he is often approached by those in town who wish wish to compliment the work of a township employee or group of employees who go “above and beyond” the call of duty in the performance of their jobs.
In response, recently the township started of a new program to recognize and celebrate excellence in public service in the Evesham community.
Czerniecki invites residents to nominate any employee(s) they observe “Going the Extra Mile” by submitting a form on the township’s website via the link provided below.
Nominations will be good for a 12-month period and the monthly selection will be made by a committee consisting of management and labor.
Employees selected will then be publicly recognized by the township council and the Marlton Business Association, which is co-sponsoring this program.
