Shamong Township residents went out today to cast their votes for the 2016 election. The Shamong Township unofficial election results has come in. Four out of the 4 districts has come in for the Township Committee seats and the Shamong Township Schools board seats.
These results might not include the mail-in-ballots, as there was a delay due to a printing error on those particular ballots, causing the mail-in-ballots to be hand counted.
Below is a tally of the votes from voting precincts who have submitted results to the Burlington County Board of Elections. All results are unofficial until the board of elections certifies them.

Jeffrey S. Warner 1,612 50.41 percent
Jeffrey Siedlecki 1,571 49.12 percent
