Moorestown Township voters to choose three council members, three board of education members on Nov. 8

Polls will be open across Moorestown on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voting for the next president of the United States isn’t the only task for Moorestown residents this Election Day. Voters will also get to vote for three township council member for a one-year, unexpired term and three board of education members for full, three-year terms on Tuesday Nov. 8.

Six candidates are running for three on MoorestownTownship Council. Republications, Phil Garwood, Victoria Napolitano and Mike Locatell are running against Democrats, Lisa Petriello, Kati Angelini and Amy Leis.

In the Moorestown Board of Education election, four candidates are running for three, full term seats. These candidates include incumbents Kathy Goldenberg and Sandra Alberti, who are running against challengers Maurice “Mick” Weeks, III and Christian Cramer. Incumbent Dimitri Schneiberg is also running for one two-year term.

In addition to the local election, residents will cast their vote for president of the United States, the New Jersey District 1 member of the House of Representatives and two Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholder candidates. There are also two statewide referendum questions this year. The first is, “Do you approve amending the constitution to permit casino gambling in two additional counties in this state?” The second is, “Do you approve amending the constitution to dedicate all revenue from the state motor fuels tax and petroleum products gross receipts tax to the Transportation Trust Fund?”

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The full list of polling locations is below:

  • 5th District: First United Methodist Church, Camden and Pleasant Valley Avenues
  • 6th District: Moorestown Estates Assisted Living, 1205 North Church Street
  • 7th District, Moorestown Hose Company # 1, 261 West Main Street
  • 8th District: First United Methodist Church, Camden and Pleasant Valley Avenues
  • 9th District: The Evergreens, LaMonte Hall, 309 Bridgeboro Road
  • 10th District: First Presbyterian Church, 101 Bridgeboro Road
  • 11th District: Moorestown Town Hall, 111 West Second Street
  • 12th District: Moorestown Town Hall, 111 West Second Street
  • 13th District: Moorestown Hose Company #1, 261 West Main Street
  • 14th District: The Evergreens, LaMonte Hall, 309 Bridgeboro Road
  • 15th District: Lutheran Home, 255 East Main Street
  • 16th District: Lutheran Home, 255 East Main Street
  • 17th District: Relief Engine Company, 222 Chester Avenue
  • 18th District: Burlington County Agriculture Canter, 500 Centerton Road
  • 19th District: Burlington County Agriculture Canter, 500 Centerton Road
  • 20th District: Burlington County Agriculture Canter, 500 Centerton Road
