Today, Cherry Hill Township voters cast their ballots in the 2016 General Election. Locally, residents will elect one township council member and three board of education members

Below is a tally of the votes from voting precincts who have submitted results to the Camden County Board of Elections. All results are unofficial until the board of elections certifies them. These numbers do not include mail-in or provisional ballots.

Cherry Hill Township Council (Top vote getter wins election):

Carolyn Jacobs (D) —14,610 (58.15%)

Rick Short (R) —10,499 (41.79%)

Write-In — 16 (0.06%)

Board of education, three-year terms (Top three vote getters win election):

Ruth Schultz — 8,858 (20.33%)

Jane Scarpellino —8,391 (19.26%)

Edward Wang —7,859 (18.04%)

Steve Robbins —5,604 (12.86%)

Ian Morris —5,239 (12.02%)

Joseph Gerace — 4,339 (10.10%)

Fredrick Dande —3,076 (7.06%)

Write-In — 144 (0.33%)
