The Moorestown Community House, the heart of our community and only non-profit structure dedicated to providing a home for all social, recreational and civic needs within our community, has announced the selection of Caryn Lynch, MPA, as its new executive director.

Lynch was chosen by the Board of Trustees after an extensive and thorough interview process that included many qualified candidates. She will succeed Brad Kenney who was instrumental in leading the Community House’s ongoing Our Unity Restoration Campaign, as well as the restoration efforts resulting from the fire in November of 2015.

“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Caryn Lynch” reports Haynes Hendrickson, President of the Board of Trustees. “Mrs. Lynch is an accomplished professional who brings a proven record of results in civic leadership, revenue generation, marketing and event planning. We are honored to bring her leadership, creativity and vision to the Community House.”

Lynch’s resume includes 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, public finance, budgeting, policy making, analysis and public communications. She holds a masters degree in public administration from the University of Pennsylvania, which she obtained while working as a top advisor in the Office of Governor Christine Todd Whitman.

Many of you likely know Lynch and have experienced her passion and contributions to Moorestown through her role as an executive officer of the Home and School Association and as an active volunteer and participant in important local organizations such as Sean Fischel Connect, Moorestown Ministerium Food Pantry, Live Civilly, Inc., Robin’s Nest, Inc. and Moorestown Parks & Recreation.

“I am humbled by this appointment” exclaims Mrs. Lynch. “It is truly an honor to be entrusted to lead the growth and vision of Moorestown’s most beloved and unique treasure. As the executive director of the Community House, I am excited to continue connecting and bonding people to our town and to each other and ensuring our ‘home’ continues to thrive for generations to come.”

Lynch is a South Jersey native, who resides in Moorestown with her husband Patrick and three children.

Please feel free to stop by and welcome Lynch to her new role at the Community House, it’s door is always open.
