Do Something!

What to do in Moorestown and the sourrounding areas this weekend.

This weekend, Moorestown residents can shop Main Street during Candlelight Night, or celebrate local volunteerism at the Live Civilly Harvest Festival. There will also be a ceremony honoring veterans in Camden County on Sunday. Find out what events are taking place across the region this weekend.

In Moorestown

· Candle Light night will lead off the weekend beginning at 5 p.m. and running through 9 p.m. on Main Street. During this magical evening, residents will find the Main Street Business District stores aglow with the warm light of candles and hospitality and the sounds of the season. This year, Main Street will be open to traffic and we will expect large crowds on the sidewalks and in the stores and restaurants for this Moorestown event. Again this year, there will be the horse drawn hay wagon rides.

· Then, on Saturday, all residents are invited to Live Civilly’s First Annual Harvest Festival, a family friendly celebration of the bounty of volunteerism in the Live Civilly Nation. Proceeds from the event will fund the many nutritional, educational and life skills outreach programs the Live Civilly provides. Hosted by the Browning Hess Farm and Sponsored by Harvest Seasonal Grill, this evening will be complete with hayrides, a bonfire and the Perfect S’More Station, live music, delicious food, the Live Civilly Nation Photo Station along with a Volunteer Recognition Ceremony. Tickets are available at www.livecivilly.org.
