Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital is also hosting an ‘Emergency Adoption Day’ on Sunday, Nov. 6.
The Burlington County Animal Shelter is nearing capacity and needs help from teh public.
According to the Burlington County Freeholders, adult cats are free to approved adopters through Nov. 6 at The Burlington County Animal Shelter.
All cats at the shelter are spayed or neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations, microchip and include one month of health insurance.
The Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital is also hosting an “Emergency Adoption Day” on Sunday, Nov. 6 from noon to 2 p.m. at the hospital, located at 220 Mt. Laurel Road.
That event will feature waived adoption fees, and anyone who attends will receive a free T-shirt.
“If you agree with me and think that a pet makes a house a home, then this is a great opportunity to adopt an animal,” said Burlington County Freeholder Latham Tiver. “These animals all need forever homes.”
The Burlington County Animal Shelter is located at 35 Academy Drive in Westampton, behind the Burlington County Library.
