The parade was originally cancelled due to inclement weather
The Palmyra Halloween Parade that was originally supposed to take place on Mischief Night — Oct. 30 — was canceled due to storms in the area. The parade has now been rescheduled for this Wednesday, Nov. 2.
With all of the time and energy put into floats, costumes and more, the parade committee decided do put on a “mini parade” — something that has never been done before in the history of the Halloween parade.
The parade will begin on West Broad Street at 7 p.m. at the Community Center and will finish up on Spring Garden Street by Legion Field. It will also pass through Chestnut street.
Anyone wishing to participate in the parade should meet at the Community Center by 6:30 p.m. There will be an announcement of awards as well as candy for all participants.
