Over a year ago, Shamong Township had requested the intersection of Tuckerton Road and Old Indian Mills Road to become a four-way stop. As Old Indian Mills Road is controlled by Burlington County on the Tabernacle side of the intersection, the township required county approval. On Oct. 17, the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders unanimously approved the four-way stop. According to the county, it is anticipated the stop signs will be installed within the next two weeks as of the Oct. 17 approval.
