David Misek, 72, is currently listed in stable condition at a local hospital after suffering a broken hip in the crash.
A Cherry Hill man has been identified as the passenger in a plane crash that took place in nearby Lindenwold on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
On Thursday morning, Lindenwold Police identified 72-year-old Cherry Hill resident David Misek as the passenger of the plane. Misek suffered a broken hip in Wednesday’s crash. He is currently listed in stable condition and is scheduled to have surgery.
On Oct. 19, Lindenwold Police reported that a small plane had crashed into the backyard of a Lindenwold home and landed upside down. Misek was the passenger in the plane flown by 66-year-old Marlton resident Wayne Gilchrist. Gilchrist is currently listed to be in stable condition with severe facial lacerations.

According to police, Misek issued a statement to investigators saying the plane experienced an unknown mechanical issue just prior to crash. The crash is currently under investigation.
