The event will take place in Cherry Hill at the Woodcrest Patco Station from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Camden County will be hosing a free shredding day in Cherry Hill Township on Saturday.
From 8:30 a.m. to noon, industrial size shredder trucks will be in the parking lot of Woodcrest Patco Station, located at 200 Tindale Drive in Cherry Hill, to destroy residents’ private documents containing personal information. The shredding event is free to all county residents.
“This is a great opportunity to shred the personal documents that we all save rather than throw in the trash and run the risk of identity theft,” said Camden County Freeholder Deputy Director Edward McDonnell.
Businesses will not be allowed to shred documents, residents only. For more information, visit www.camdencounty.com.
