The free event will bring companies and jobseekers together at the Burlington Center Mall.
Burlington County Freeholder Mary Ann O’Brien has announced that the Burlington County Freeholder Board will be hosting their annual County Job Fair on Friday, Oct. 21 through the County’s Workforce Development Institute.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Burlington Center Mall on Route 541 in Burlington Township.
“As Burlington County’s regional business needs continue to grow, so do our efforts to meet those needs,” O’Brien said. “The Freeholder Board is proud to once again provide residents of varying talents and backgrounds the opportunity to meet with over 40 employers from diverse fields such as health care, hospitality, retail, finance, skilled trades, transportation, technology and more.
O’Brien said events such as the County Job Fair, which connect the County’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are a critical part of the county’s efforts to strengthen the local economy.
“We encourage everyone to come out and see what these companies have to offer, and show these companies that Burlington County has a skilled and eager workforce that can support them,” O’Brien said.
O’Brien also noted that in past years the county has seen an “overwhelmingly positive” response from to the free event, and the county expects the same this year.
“It is also important for residents to feel the personal impacts of improving our local economy,” O’Brien said. “If even just a handful of our citizens find jobs through this job fair, we can consider the effort a success.”
