Early voting center is now open for Camden County residents

For the first time, Camden County residents now have the opportunity to cast their votes early in the 2016 general election. The Camden County early voting center is a joint effort of the Freeholder Board, County Clerk, Board of Elections and Superintendent of Elections.

“I invite Camden County residents to visit our early voting center in Gloucester Township,” said Camden County Clerk Joseph Ripa. “It is a one-stop shop for election-rated matters. This is a convenient way to avoid the rush of Election Day and know that you had your voice heard in the upcoming election.”

The Camden County’s early voting center is located in the Camden County Elections and Archives Center, located at 100 University Court in Gloucester Township. (University Court is located off of Orr Road between Sicklerville Road and College Drive.)

The Camden County early voting center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also offering the extended hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 25 and 27, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, Nov. 2, 4 and 5.

General Election Day is Nov. 8 and the polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The deadline to apply for Vote by Mail in the mail is Nov. 1. Applications must be received in the mail by Clerk’s Office by 4 p.m.

Deadline to apply for Vote by Mail in person is Nov. 7. Applications must be hand delivered to Clerk’s Office by 3 p.m.
