The band has a repertoire of big band classics, jazz, Broadway and pops favorites.
The Wind Symphony of Southern New Jersey will present a concert at the Wiley Church in Marlton on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. With a repertoire of big band classics, jazz, Broadway and pops favorites, the band is directed by Robert Streckfuss, professor of Music Emeritus at the University of Delaware.
In addition to touring Austria and the United Kingdom, the band has performed over 300 concerts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware since it was founded in 1965. No tickets are needed, but there will be a free will offering in support of the Wiley Health Care Residents. The Wiley Church is located at 99 East Main St. in Marlton.
