What’s open and closed on Columbus Day in Cherry Hill Township?

Township offices and schools are both open today, but a few other places will not open their doors.

Today, some places of businesses, governments and school districts are observing Columbus Day. Though it is a federal government holiday, a number of places around Cherry Hill Township are still open. Here is a short list of what is opened and closed today.

Post offices: All post offices are closed today as Columbus Day is recognized as a federal holiday. There will be no mail delivery today.

Township offices: Cherry Hill Township offices will be open for normal business hours today. Cherry Hill Township Council will not have its meeting tonight as per the normal schedule. Council will instead meet on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 9:30 a.m.

Cherry Hill Public Library: The library is closed all day today due to the holiday.

Cherry Hill Public Schools: All Cherry Hill Public Schools are open for a full day of classes today.

Katz JCC: The Katz JCC will have normal operating hours today.

Banks: A few banks, such as TD Bank and Wells Fargo, will be open today. A number of other banks, including Bank of America, Citizens Bank and PNC Bank, are closed.
