The Camden County 2016 Seasonal Influenza Immunization Program will visit Cherry Hill Town Hall Friday morning.
The Camden County 2016 Seasonal Influenza Immunization Program will make its first of two visits to Cherry Hill Township on Friday morning.
A flu shot clinic will be open at the Cherry Hill Township Municipal Building on Friday morning from 9 a.m. to noon. County residents are welcome to get their free flu shot during those hours.
Seniors, pregnant women and chronically ill people are considered high priority groups to receive flu shots. Shots are also recommended for people with weakened immune or cardiovascular systems, or with chronic metabolic diseases, renal dysfunction or blood disorders.
Kids must be 9 years or older to receive a shot and must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 9 years old need two shots, one month apart, and should be seen by a pediatrician.
There will also be another flu shot clinic in Cherry Hill on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the Katz JCC from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
