The workshop will include a panel speaking about the dangers of drug addiction locally and a breakout session for guests in attendance.
Cherry Hill residents are invited to attend a community addiction workshop on Thursday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Cherry Hill Public Library.
The two-hour workshop will include a panel consisting of an addictions specialist, two parents who have lost loved ones to addiction, a member of of the Cherry Hill Police Department, and a young adult in recovery. Each of the panel members will speak during the program.
Later, there will be a breakout session where parents and students are broken into separate groups for a more intimate discussion. Attendees will learn everything they need to know to help prevent addiction in your family.
The workshop is being presented by the Camden County Board of Freeholders, Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Southern NJ, Cherry Hill Alliance on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Kennedy Health and Virtua.
