Wyngate Community Police Tribute

On Thursday, Oct. 6, the Wyngate at Medford, Bob Meyer Community will be hosting a tribute to the Medford Police Department as a thank you for their service. The event will take place at the Gazebo at 6 p.m. Please arrive at 5:45 p.m. and bring a small flag to wave as the Police arrive.

The Gazebo will be decorated and we ask each resident to bring some type of snack for them to take back to their station. Snacks are to be store bought and nothing homemade will be accepted. Some ideas are: Protein bars, peanut butter crackers, cookies, candy bars, water, Gatorade, snack cakes, pretzels, raisin boxes, chips, trail mix, nuts, gum or anything that they can grab and go when on duty.

The idea is to have all individual packages that they can store and will not be perishable. If anyone cannot attend the ceremony, and would still like to contribute, we will have a table in the all purpose room for collections any day or night until the event.

In case of inclement weather, we will meet at the clubhouse for the small tribute.

Thank you in advance for your participation in our community thank you to the men and women in blue that protect us on a daily basis. Please come out and show your support. Let’s have a great resident showing.
