Sponsored: Grubhub, the nation’s leading online and mobile food ordering company, connect hungry Cherry Hill diners with local takeout restaurants
Grubhub, the nation’s leading online and mobile food ordering company dedicated to connecting hungry diners with local takeout restaurants, is now available in Cherry Hill!
Since August, Grubhub has been providing Cherry Hill locals the ability to easily order food from eateries in the area that don’t typically offer this service directly. People can now order food from establishments such as Maggiano’s Little Italy, California Pizza Kitchen and Brio Tuscan Grill through Grubhub’s easy-to-use mobile application or website.
“We’re excited to be in Cherry Hill,” said Joe Grosso, general manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region for Grubhub. “We’re excited to offer restaurants that normally don’t offer delivery to our diners. And we’re looking to build up our restaurant network over a short period of time.”
Grubhub is an easy-to-use online food delivery source. Users can access the service by visiting www.grubhub.com or by downloading the mobile app in the App Store or Google Play. Once you set up your account with a username and password, you will have easy access to about 50 restaurants in the Cherry Hill area that are a part of the service, “and we will be continuously adding new restaurants to the site to give our diners more options,” Grosso said.
“You’re getting something that you cannot get normally. Maggiano’s, for example, doesn’t offer residential delivery. Just place your order, relax and your food will get to you,” Grosso said.
Each restaurant listed on Grubhub will deliver to a three- to four-mile radius of a person’s location, and the goal is to have the food delivered to your door within 45 minutes of the order being placed, Grosso said.
In addition to being able to search and choose from a restaurant’s full menu, Grubhub allows you to add specific instructions to your order, such as “hold the tomatoes” or “add extra ranch sauce.”
Grubhub provides each participating restaurant with a tablet to receive orders, ensuring each customer’s order appears right in front of the restaurant in real time.
“Our technology gives restaurants the ability to avoid mistakes. We want to make sure our customers get their orders as quickly as possible and as accurately as possible,” Grosso said.
Your Grubhub account also easily allows you to view your past order history, so you can re-order your favorite meals with the click of a button. And since you pay for your entire order through Grubhub, including tip, there is no need to worry about an exchange of money with the person who delivers your food.
“There is no hassle at the door,” Grosso said.
