Unitarian Universalist Church of Cherry Hill hosting public forum on police, community relations on Sept. 20
Representatives from multiple religious congregations, the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association and local government will be on hand at the event.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Cherry Hill is hosting a public forum and discussion entitled “Cherry Hill Police and Community Relations” on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Cherry Hill, 401 North Kings Highway in Cherry Hill.
The event will bring together multiple religions, the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association and representatives of local government to discuss and further develop relations. The forum will address how everyone can work toward justice, equity and compassion in local communities.
Guest panelists will include:
· Cherry Hill Police Chief William Monaghan
· Camden County Freeholder Jonathan Young
· Cherry Hill African American Civic Association Vice President William McCargo
· Gloucester County Equal Employment Opportunity Director Milton Hinton Jr.
The free forum is sponsored by the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association, Christ our Light Church, Gracious Center of Learning & Enrichment, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Southern New Jersey, the Muslim American Community Association, St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Church and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Cherry Hill.
