The Cherry Hill Police Department is hosting a community meeting on Wednesday to inform the community about the police body worn cameras it will be purchasing later this fall.
The community meeting will take place on Sept. 7 beginning at 7 p.m. in the N. John Amato Council Chambers at the Cherry Hill Municipal Building. All members of the community are invited to attend.
The purpose of the meeting will be to educate members of the audience on the Cherry Hill Police Department’s use of the new technology. A representative from Taser, the manufacturer of the cameras, will be on hand to demonstrate how the camera works and explain its capabilities.
