Join the South Jersey Land & Water Trust (SJLWT) for its annual fundraising sunset sail on the A.J. Meerwald tall ship on Saturday, September 10 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Meerwald’s Burlington port of call, 3 York St. in Burlington, located across the street from the Oneida Boat Club. Light appetizers and beer/wine will be offered during the sail, as well as some information on the history of the A.J. Meerwald and the mission of the South Jersey Land & Water Trust.
Tickets are $55 per SJLWT member and $60 per nonmember. Space is limited, so purchase your tickets today. Tickets must be purchased in advance, either online at www.SJLandWater.org/Event-Directory or by mailing a check to SJLWT’s office at 21 Main Street in Auburn.
This event serves as a celebration of autumn, as well as a fundraiser for the SJLWT, a nonprofit that works to preserve and protect the natural, cultural and historic treasures in South Jersey. This is done through monthly community cleanups and walks in the woods, as well as through advocacy and education on a local level. There are many opportunities to get involved with SJLWT and several events each month to get outdoors. Visit www.SJLandWater.org for more information.
