Motorists will be unable to access Springdale Road from Chateau Drive for about the next two weeks.
Chateau Drive at Springdale Road will be closed beginning on Aug. 3 as part of the ongoing roadwork improvement project on Springdale Road in Cherry Hill.
The Camden County Department of Public Works announced the road would be closed to help facilitate reconstruction of Springdale Road. Drivers on Chateau Drive will be detoured to Prince Drive and then to Spring Road to access Springdale Road. The closure is expected to last approximately two weeks.
The ongoing Springdale Road improvement project includes the alignment and paving of the road from Evesham Road to Wilderness Drive. The project includes new traffic striping, traffic signal improvements with pedestrian crossings, landscaped islands with irrigation, handicap accessibility and drainage improvements. Motorists should expect some deals around the area of construction, especially around peak drive times.
