The Burlington County Special Services School Education Foundation (BCSSSD) is hosting its 18th annual Golf Outing on Aug. 1 at the Medford Lakes Country Club. The event participants will enjoy a day of golfing, door prizes, silent auction, and breakfast/lunch.
For the past eighteen years, the BCSSSD Educational Foundation has been helping students with disabilities who attend the school from various towns in Burlington County and the surrounding counties. The Foundation provides financial support for Saturday respite for families and their children, specialized equipment to assist and promote mobility, and additional monies to support graduation activities and scholarship programs. Events such as the golf outing provide the necessary funds to support the Foundation’s mission.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a great day of golf and fun while supporting children who desperately need our help,” said foundation president Paula Lynch.
This year’s event begins at 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 1 at the Medford Lakes Country Club, 70 Oak Drive Medford Lakes. There are sponsorship opportunities for companies who wish to get involved. For more information, please visit www.bcsssd.k12.nj.us.
