After a whirlwind, two-week, summer music/drama camp held at HOPE Church, more than 60, third through eighth graders will be performing a production of “The Kingdom Connection: Where the Bible Comes to Life” on Thursday, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. at the church campus located at 700 Cooper Road in Voorhees.
In just two weeks’ time, participants will have learned their songs, their lines and their dance moves all while constructing their own stage sets. The only thing left is to share what they’ve learned with the community.
Join the tour as our kids meet King David, King Saul, King Herod, and that wise ruler, King Solomon. The performance delivers the ultimate message that, even among all the powerful kings of the Bible, the one true king, the king of all kings, the one needed most in one’s live, is King Jesus. Attendees don’t have to go to a museum to learn about our God, because of Jesus, all can experience the Kingdom of God both now and in heaven.
The performance is free and open to the public and nursery care is provided. All are welcome.
