Tri-State Jazz Society is having its next concert on July 24 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. featuring The Atlantic City Jazz Band. The Atlantic City Jazz Band is an authentic “tuba and banjo” ensemble specializing in the music that swept the nation when the first jazz recordings were issued in 1917. The band includes Tri-State Jazz Society board members, Bob Rawlins on reeds and Nancy Rawlins on piano. Banjoist Franny Smith played at our last jam.
Regular admission is $20. Anyone who is a member Tri-State Jazz Society or who has not previously attended a Tri-State Jazz Society concert will be admitted for half the regular price at $10. High school and college students with IDs and younger children accompanied by a paying adult are admitted free. Pay at the door.
The concert will be held at the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Road.
