Cook the Book! Lunchtimes at the Library

If you love cookbooks and trying new recipes, join the Moorestown Library for a delicious lunchtime “cook group” on Wednesday, August 3 at 1 p.m. with the theme “Feast on Fruit.”

Juicy watermelon, sweet ripe peaches, delicious berries! Celebrate summer by trying a new recipe with some of the freshest fruits of the season. Come check out the inspiring cookbooks the library has selected for you at the reference desk and pick out your recipe and try something new!

The library will select three cookbooks from their collection and hold them at the reference desk. Stop by to peruse them and find a recipe that appeals to you and the library will photocopy it for you.

Make it at home and bring it to the library to share. Participants will share their recipes, what they thought of them, what they liked about them and what they didn’t. Brand new and experienced cooks are welcome as well as friends.

For additional information call the library’s reference desk at (856) 234–0333.
