The Voorhees Police Department has been made aware that an unknown person is placing fraudulent parking tickets on vehicles in the parking lots of the Club at MainĀ Street.

The tickets, which claim to be from the Voorhees Police Department, claim that vehicle are illegally parked and must pay a violation fee.

The tickets have spaces where the vehicles make and model, license plate number, and date and time of offense have been written in byĀ hand.

If residents see someone suspicious in the area, police ask that they call the department immediately.

Police say persons who are falsely representing themselves as police officers will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of theĀ law.
