On June 10, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Evesham Police Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male operating a black vehicle in the area of Kings Grant Drive.
Officers located the vehicle and during the investigation Evesham Police K-9 Spike was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics.
K-9 Spike was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car.
A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of anabolic steroids and hypodermic needles.
A male, age 28, of Medford, was charged with third degree possession of anabolic steroids and a disorderly persons offense for possession of a hypodermic needle. He was released on his own recognizance.
