Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey (OYRSJ) has announced that they are once again partnering with The Ravitz Family Markets and their five local ShopRite Stores in sending care packages to the troops serving in Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan and other areas in the Middle East.

Each year, The Ravitz Family Markets owned ShopRites are OYRSJ’s №1 supporter, sponsor and partner in the community with helping raise funds and generating donations of care package items for our brave women and men deployed to the Middle East.

OYRSJ has announced that the group is excited and grateful to have such support again for 2016.

With the help of The Ravitz Family Markets customers and staff, OYRSJ shipped over 50,000 pounds of care package items in 2015.

The Ravitz Family Markets owned ShopRites are helping OYRSJ from Memorial Day weekend through the weekend of July 4 in collections for care packages and donations for the troops at their registers when customers check out and complete their shopping trip.

In addition, volunteers from OYRSJ will be visiting each store at the listed dates and locations below to greet customers and kindly ask them as they enter the store to consider purchasing one or more care package items and donating them on the way out as they exit.

OYRSJ will then pack the generously donated items and prepare them for shipping to our brave women and men on the care package recipient list of OYRSJ.

OYRSJ asks the public to come out and shop for the troops on any of the dates below that is convenient.

A list of items requested can be found on the OYRSJ website at www.OperationYellowRibbonSouthJersey.org or volunteers of OYRSJ will give customers a list as they enter the stores at the dates and times below.
