The following information was provided by the Medford Township Police Department.
On May 18 at 5:30 p.m., the Medford Township Police, Fire and EMS were dispatched to Route 70 and County Road 541 for a motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles. Upon arrival, there were five victims with various injuries. A 31-year-old female, 41-year-old female and 27-year-old male in a blue Scion were airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center with life threatening injuries. A 35-year-old man and 33-year-old man in a Black Volkswagon were transported to Virtua Marlton for non-life threatening injuries. A 29-year-old man in a Dodge Town and Country minivan was not injured.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Medford Township Police Department. Route 70 was closed for five hours for the investigation and clean up of the incident.
