The Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club is sponsoring “Take a Kid Fishing Day in Medford.” The event will be held on Saturday, June 18 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Medford Park. Medford Park is located across from the Pinelands Branch Library at South Main Street and Allen Avenue. Medford Park can also be accessed via Gill Road off of Allen Avenue.
All area children are invited to participate and prizes will be awarded. Participants are not required to live in Medford Township. Gather the children, grab some fishing poles, come on out, and have some fun. The fishing derby is free. If extreme weather conditions exist, there will be no rain date.
