On May 10, the Cherry Hill Board of Education approved Dennis Perry as principal of Cherry Hill High School East.
“It is my pleasure to welcome and introduce Dr. Perry as the new principal of Cherry Hill High School East,” said Superintendent of the Cherry Hill Public Schools Joseph Meloche. “I’m excited for Dennis to take on this opportunity.”
Perry has served as principal of Henry C. Beck Middle School in the Cherry Hill Public Schools since 2005. He will begin his new position as principal at Cherry Hill East on July 1. He will be taking over for current principal Lawyer Chapman, who is moving to a new position as principal of the Cherry Hill Alternative High School.
“In coming to the Cherry Hill Schools 11 years ago, I found where I wanted to be,” Perry said. “Taking on the principal position at East is exciting, and I assure everyone that I will provide the very best experience for their children. We’re going to focus on the already excellent academics, of course, and making memories as well.”
