Moorestown Police Reports for April 24 to May 5

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On May 2, a male subject was seen going through a contractor’s truck while parked on Third Street. The subject ran off and checking the unlocked vehicle it appears nothing was taken.

On May 4, it was reported by a realtor various items were taken from a vacant house on Riverton Road. Taken were trim to doors and windows, doors, kitchen cabinets, a kitchen sink, a center island, kitchen appliances, bathroom sinks, a toilet and a chandelier.

On May 5, an 18-year-old woman of Lindenwold was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She took clothing valued at $248.48 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons. An 18-year-old co-defendant of Mt. Laurel was also arrested and charged with shoplifting. She took clothing valued at $67.50 from Boscov’s Department Store. She was also released on a summons.

On April 24, a 32-year-old man of Paulsboro was arrested and charged with possession of CDS heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia due to a motor vehicle stop where he was a passenger. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $10,000 bail.

On April 25, a 42-year-old male of Garfield was arrested and charged with obstruction. While responding to a report of a suspicious person/vehicle he gave the officer a false name and ID. He was released on a summons.

On April 26, a 59-year-old woman of Camden was arrested and charged with shoplifting. Sellers stole assorted women’s clothing from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall valued at $358.97. She was released on a summons.

On April 27, a 21-year-old female of Beverly was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She took articles of women’s active wear valued at $753.35 from Lord & Taylor in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

On April 28, a 47-year-old man of Mt Laurel was arrested and charged with shoplifting. He took five bed sheet sets and two comforter sets valued at $334.93 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. He was released on a summons.
