Free women’s safety seminar at Echelon Health and Fitness Gym on June 4

A free women’s safety seminar will be held on Saturday, June 4, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Echelon Health and Fitness Gym, 1160 White Horse Road.

Safety Presentations and Information concerning domestic violence, sexual assault, street crime and more will be conducted by representatives from the Camden County Prosecutors Office, the Voorhees Township Police Department, the New Jersey State Police and the Camden County Women’s Center, along with a live demonstration of self-defense techniques by Strive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

This event is co-sponsored by the Gibbsboro-Voorhees Lions Club and the Kiwanis Club of the Haddons. When issues of importance to the community such as women’s safety need to be addressed, these Clubs believe they have a responsibility to sponsor or co-sponsor events with other community oriented organizations to present information of help to the community.
