Inconsistent accounts of the burglary by the victim, along with numerous interviews and investigative follow-ups by officers determined that the homeowner had illegally sold the handgun and pawned her jewelry.

Officers obtained an arrest warrant for the homeowner and she was arrested on March 15.

Arrested:

A female, age 37, of Marlton, was charged with fourth degree making a false report to a law enforcement authority and two counts of fourth degree firearm regulatory provisions. She was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000 bail.
