Join in Friday, March 18 as the Moorestown DeCafe welcomes Americana and blues singer-songwriter Jonah Tolchin and his band. Tolchin brings strong instrumentation and brilliant songwriting to blues, folk and modern Americana. He has appeared at SXSW and the Newport and Falcon Ridge Folk Festivals and has opened for Tom Paxton, Chris Smither, Justin Townes Earl, Rickie Lee Jones and others. “Mockingbird,” from his recent album Clover Lane, was chosen by NPR’s “Heavy Rotation:10 Songs Public Radio Can’t Stop Playing.” Spotify also named Jonah’s “Diamond Mind” to its 2014 Best Songs of the Year list.
DeCafe provides a warm coffeehouse environment for great music in an intimate setting surrounded by art at the Perkins Center for the Arts, 395 Kings Highway.
