A Palm Sunday Choir Concert will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Moorestown on March 20 at 7 p.m.
The concert will feature the Seven Last Words of Christ by Theodore Dubois. The adult choir and soloists will participate with woodwinds, harp and organ. Glenn Rodgers is the music director.
This oft-performed oratorio evokes the emotion and drama of the heart-wrenching statements of Christ from the cross. This performance is made possible through a bequest from the estate of Claire Regn, a longtime faithful member of the alto section of the choir.
The church is located at the corner of Camden and Pleasant Valley Avenues and its facilities meet the standards set by the American Disabilites Act for general access.
Admission is free, the public is most welcome and a free-will offering will be taken. Childcare will be provided.
