The countdown is on for the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties’ Annual Campaign Kick Off Breakfast taking place Tuesday, March 8 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Mt. Laurel YMCA located at 59 Centerton Road in Mt. Laurel. The Annual Campaign is the Y’s biggest fundraising initiative of the year. This year’s campaign theme is “Together We Can Build a Better Us.”

With a campaign goal of $2.15 million, the largest in the Y’s history, the Y will help transform lives and communities by providing program support and financial assistance to local youth and families who need the Y most. The Kick-Off Breakfast will honor South Jersey Young Professionals Association (SJYPA), South Jersey’s largest and most dynamic organization of charitable young professionals, for the tremendous contributions it has made to Camp No Worries, a Y program that provides a week of fun for children with cancer and their siblings.

“The Annual Campaign assures that no individual will be denied membership or program participation due to limited resources,” said Tim Kerrihard, president and CEO of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. “As the demand for the Y’s services increases year after year, it’s critical that we continue to raise funds to help close the financial gap for families who need it most.”

Key sponsors for the event are: Breakfast Sponsor Sensational Host; Event Sponsors Hutchinson Mechanical Services, TD Bank and PCS; and Media Sponsor Thomas/Boyd Communications.

The event is free of charge. The Y requests that RSVPs be made by March 4. RSVPs can be completed online at ymca-bc.org. For more information or to contribute to the Y’s Annual Campaign, please contact Jaimie Geddes at (856) 231–9622 x202 or [email protected].
