Haddonfield Police Reports for Jan. 4 through Jan. 22

The following reports were provided by the Haddonfield Police Department:

On the evening of Jan. 22, several vehicles were burglarized overnight in the area of North Edge Park Drive and Wayside Lane. Officers responded to a call for a suspicious male walking up residential driveways and attempting to gain entry into cars. Haddonfield Police Officers were able to take on suspect into custody who was found in the reported vicinity. A second suspect was tracked through the snow and found nearby shortly thereafter all vehicles were unlocked when entered.
The suspects were to males, one of Mt. Ephraim and the other of Camden. They were both charged with burglary and theft.
Both suspects were released on bail pending a court hearing.
Always lock your car doors, don’t leave valuables in your car and park for visibility.

On Jan. 14, a caller from the 200 block of West Summit Avenue found a satchel with miscellaneous medial related items belonging to the victim on his front yard. Upon speaking with the victim, of the 300 block of Evans Avenue, he reported someone had entered his unlocked vehicle overnight. The satchel was taken from the vehicle. The satchel and its contents were returned to the wife of the victim.

On Jan. 14, a victim of the 200 block of West summit Avenue, reported his unlocked vehicle was entered sometime overnight. Approximately $3 in loose change was taken.

On Jan. 14, a 200 block Homestead Avenue caller reported an unknown person(s) entered his vehicle overnight and went through his center console and glove box. It appears nothing was taken. The vehicle was left unsecure.

On Jan. 4, a business on the 600 block of Haddon Avenue was burglarized at 11:30 p.m. The suspect gained entry by breaking the rear window. Cash was stolen from the business. Anyone who observed anything or anyone suspicious is asked to contact Haddonfield Police at (856) 429–3000.
