Thanks to a call from an observant township resident, Evesham officers were able to locate and arrest a male while he was attempting to break into parked vehicles.
On Jan. 29, at 9:44 p.m., officers responded to the unit block of Abington Ave for a report of a male attempting to break into cars.
Officers surrounded the area and quickly located and arrested the male.
In addition to being arrested for criminal attempt burglary, the male was found to be in possession of numerous packets of heroin.
Arrested:
A male, age 25, of Marlton, was charged with third degree possession of heroin and fourth degree criminal attempt burglary. He was release on his own recognizance.
