Evesham Police arrest man for stealing physical needs transportation van

The following report is on file with the Evesham Police Department:

On Jan. 12 at 8:15 a.m., Evesham Police responded to the 1500 block of Roberts Lane for male who had just stolen transportation van for individuals with specific physical needs.

Responding officers quickly began checking the township for the van at which time an alert officer located the stolen vehicle in the WaWa parking lot, 270 Greentree Road.

Evesham Officers established a perimeter around the WaWa and arrested the male without incident as he exited the store. Following the arrest, the van was returned to the group home.

Arrested:

A male, age 46, of Marlton was charged with third degree theft of a motor vehicle. He was released on his own recognizance.
