It’s a blast from the past at Grounds for Good Coffee House on Friday, Dec. 4. The Jersey Boomers, four local veteran musicians, will take us back to the folk music era of the late 1950s and early 1960s, when The Kingston Trio, The Clancy Brothers and Peter, Paul and Mary topped the charts. In addition to top-notch music, treat yourself to free coffee and tea and perhaps indulge in some delicious homemade goodies. It’s the holiday season, after all!
Admission is always free, but proceeds and donations will benefit ARC Learn-A-Way, a developmental day care center for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.
Doors will open at 7:30 p.m., with music kicking off around 8 p.m. Grounds for Good is held monthly at the First United Methodist Church, on the corner of Camden and Pleasant Valley Avenues.
