ChildrenSong of New Jersey sings in Cherry Hill Dec. 6

Celebrate the music of Benjamin Britten with an extraordinary opportunity to hear “Ceremony of Carols” sung by local youth choir, ChildrenSong of New Jersey. The choir, which recently performed at the Kimmel Center, is comprised of young singers from Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties who share in the joy of singing. Youth singers aged 12 to 17 will perform Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols” with harpist Sophie Bruno Labiner in its entirety. Polly Murray, Founding Artistic Director, and Margaret O’Neill, Assistant Director, will also lead the choir in several holiday favorites including an audience sing-along.

Welcome Yule! will be performed by ChildrenSong of New Jersey on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 401 Kings Highway in Cherry Hill. Tickets for adults are $20; student and seniors are $15; children 14 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door.
