Brightview Mt. Laurel, an assisted living community in Mt. Laurel, will host an educational seminar for families and caregivers on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the community located at 400 Fernbrooke Lane.
Elizabeth Saintil, LPN, Wellspring Village director at Brightview Mt. Laurel and Colleen Kerstetter, MSCCCSLP, speech therapist with Bayada Home Care, will present “Creating New Meaning and Memories During the Holiday Season,” a discussion on how to make the holidays joyful and create new memories with a family member living with or diagnosed with dementia.
“Serving as a resource for older adults, families, caregivers and others in the community is important to us,” notes Meredith Becker, Brightview executive director. “We are excited to partner with dementia experts and share their expertise and knowledge.
“Working together, we create moments of joy for families, friends and caregivers of people living with dementia and other forms of memory impairments,” Becker said.
Brightview Mt. Laurel features assisted living and a Wellspring Village neighborhood dedicated to dementia and Alzheimer’s care. The community has served residents and their families since 1997.
