Winter will soon be upon Evesham and so shall the township’s annual Winterfest event.
On Dec. 4 the children of Evesham and their families can visit the Main Street Firehouse from 5–9 p.m. for a visit with the man in the red suit himself — Santa Claus.
Children will be treated to free pictures with Santa, along with free hot chocolate and cookies, as well as arts and crafts activities to keep them entertained while waiting for old St. Nick to arrive on a fire truck and slide down the firehouse pole.
In years past, the event has always drawn a large crowd, so members of the public are advised there may be a line before they get their chance with Santa.
