Veterans Appreciation Service is Nov. 15 at church in Moorestown

A Veterans Appreciation Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15 in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church in Moorestown. The guest speaker is Wayne Snover who graduated from Dickinson College in June 1968 and was drafted into the Army that same summer. He did basic combat training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Polk, La. He shipped out to Vietnam in January 1969 where he was assigned to the First Infantry Division. He returned from Vietnam in March 1970 having acquired the rank of Sergeant.

Following the service, a reception will be held in Fellowship Hall.

A special welcome is extended to all veterans, active military, their families and friends.
